The Second Thursday Club: is a long standing group of mothers who have provided pre-school play groups as well as activities for pre-school and young school age children such as the Easter Egg hunt and some Christmas Park displays, etc. They are the Child Committee for the HUB. The Optimist Club- provides for our charitable receipts. The 4-H Club - has been revived through the HUB.  The V.O.N. - hosts dinners and entertainment that are regular monthly events. These will be held at the building when it is fully renovated, along with other activities the V.O.N. would like to initiate. The Youth - pay for dances, buses for trips, and organize sport and recreational events. Industry Canada - is the funding providor for our CAP site (free computer and internet use). Community Groups - are many that are associated with the HUB. "All that Glitters" committee is the group responsible for decorating Union park over the Christmas season. The HUB is involved by sponsoring one of the displays and stores many of the displays and equipment in the building. The "Canada Day" committee sponsors all weekend events. the HUB sponsors the refreshments for the children's activities. |
